Doctoral Researcher, Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, 2015–present Designing and developing research in the areas of Creativity within Social Enterprises throughout Scotland. Building expertise in qualitative research, social theory and philosophy, and entrepreneurship.

Graduate Student, Department of Arts Administration, 2013–2015 Conducted postgraduate research in the areas of Social Enterprise and Creative Industries, focusing on creative social enterprises in Glasgow, Scotland. Developed expertise in the landscape and environment of creative social enterprises in post- independence referendum Scotland.

University of Evansville

Undergraduate Senior Research Project, Department of Theatre, 2010–2011 Completed research about the utilization of theatre artists for American cultural diplomacy; themes included: cultural identity, international policy, and diplomacy.

Implemented and maintained all financial record keeping, including managing accounts payable and receivable, tracking income for accuracy, and creating reports. Executed and managed business documentation and licensing, including preparing data for annual audit of financial statements and tax return filing. Researched best practices in financial management and human resources management and implement recommended changes. Developed and managed human resources documentation and policies.

Housing Services Coordinator, Habitat for Humanity Metro Louisville, Louisville KY, 2011–2013

Trained 50+ Habitat potential homeowners to complete 400 sweat equity hours (each) including construction education and financial literacy. Designed and implemented homebuyer marketing campaigns, which resulted in a 30% increase of qualified Habitat applicants. Served as an outreach coordinator to cultivate relationships with multicultural residents throughout Louisville, KY, by developing events and activities with community organizations including designing and planning a community festival.

Community Leadership

Co-Founder, The Black Lady Caucus, 2014-2015

Founded and organized a network of students, alumni, and community leaders to investigate and contemplate current events and culture surrounding the black female identity.

AmeriCorps Member, Homeless and Housing Coalition of Kentucky, 2011–2013

Served along 50+ Habitat homebuyers to ensure they each completed the required sweat equity hours (400+ hours in total) within a year of joining the homebuyer program, by developing and managing the homebuyer education program. Served as the outreach coordinator for Habitat’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI) in Metro Louisville.

President, University of Evansville Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter, 2010–2011

Founded and cultivated the University of Evansville Habitat for Humanity Campus chapter including recruiting over 100 members. Planned and executed a successful fundraising campaign to raise money from local Evansville businesses to establish the official campus chapter.
